Job duties: Serves as the Chief of Construction Branch, E&C Division, of the Walla Walla District. As the primary construction engineering assistant and advisor to the Commander, is responsible for the independent planning and direction of the District Office staff review and advisory functions as regards to extensive civil construction programs and insuring performance of the highest quality of construction obtainable in all features under contract provisions and for protection of government interests from claims. The construction mission includes such projects as major and minor rehabilitation of hydroelectric projects; HTRW projects; fish facilities; and numerous revetment and navigation projects throughout portions of the states of Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
