Job duties: The primary purpose of this position is to make the government decisions associated with professional electrical engineering and the planning, programming, repair, maintenance, and construction of Air Force real property, non· real property, real property installed equipment (RPIE), "work for others," and temporary facilities outlined in regulations and contract documents. Oversees, reviews and approves the work and performance of the PA electrical workforce as described in the PWS, Manages or consults with PA on major construction or improvement projects. Reviews architect and engineer statements of work provided by the PA. Ensures PA compliance with criteria and standards for specialized, difficult, or unusual requirements. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies to ensure PA adheres to safety, security, and environmental compliance and programmed development.
